This 10.1mm pair of golden south sea pearls is a nice medium gold color but also displays some fancy overtone, which contributes to the appearance of mismatch under studio lighting. 
 
The size makes them great for studs and dangles both that will be easily worn and very comfortable -- not too heavy. 
 
The pearls have generally clean and very smooth, close to the gem quality "glossy/oily" surface.
