A rarity in the other direction -- it's almost unheard of to have golden south sea pearls this small, due to the size of its mollusk, Pinctada Maxima, which generally produce pearls starting at 9mm. A great option for those with petite lobes to still get their golden fix. 
 
The surfaces are overall clean and very smooth, and luster is very good. Matching is good
